RE: Copal

RE: CopalUnbiased opinions are very rare on Stockhouse.  My biased opinion is that this was not a blockbuster resource update.

I might add, however, that I have stink bids in for some more shares.  I'm also the first to admit that I'm far from an expert on interpreting drill results.  I rely on others who are more knowledgeable to help me with that.

My sense is that the silver streams are much more important, especially in a beaten down sector that is hungry for near term earnings.  That's why most of the companies I own are producers or extremely near near term producers.

The good thing is it looks like they just had a new silver stream fall into their lap with the new discovery of Lundin at Neves-Corvo.  I did talk to investor relations about that today and he said he needed more information on it and was looking into it.

He did think that the reason Lundin did not mention the silver when they press released the discovery is because they don't own the silver, SST does, so their shareholders really wouldn't much care about it.  Their game is the copper and zinc.  He also said that there was no reason to think that the silver stream from this discovery would be any different than the previous deposits at Neves-Corvo.

The press release also said that Neves-Corvo is underexplored.  Hopefully, it will keep getting bigger and SST will get more and more Silver out of it without ever having to bid for it.

All that said.  This junior's market is so horrendous right now that I'm not buying any company, no matter how good the story is, unless the price comes to me.
