The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg Barclays 1-3 Year U. The fund invests at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index and in securities that the Adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of short term (1-3 years) public obligations of the U.S. Treasury.

RE: RE: The cash rich mining bargainsDid a little digging into the CS/SWC Minto numbers. I did notice in Q3 2008 Minto produced 10,108oz from low grade ore. The low grade ore reference is to the copper grade, but I assume the better copper graded ore may also contain a little more gold also. It's quite possible with Minto's increased tonnage and higher grade ore now being used that we will see our 50k oz per year, or more. Too bad we can only buy half of whatever is produced beyond 50k oz per year though.

Looking at the numbers though, if we get 50k oz of gold and gold goes to 1000USD, that's some serious cash flow. 50 million in USD revenue at 1k per oz, all with never changing cash costs per oz, gotta love it. Add to that the silver revenue and it's sure looking sweet.

I agree fully that Q1 2009 could be the quarter that swings this on a solid uptrend. Very pleased they decided to get into some gold here.
