RE: RE: RE: Bonterra/Spartan Teleconference Something to think about is the increased pipeline capacity heading south. Once that bottleneck abates in a couple of years, Spartan (or successor) will start getting WTI pricing for that nice light Pembina oil.
If I heard correctly in the past couple of calls (Pinecrest/Spartan and Bonterra/Spartan), the current differential is about $14/bbl for light oil versus WTI. So Sparatan is only getting about $70 - $72 for its oil at the Edmonton terminal today.
My current calculations do not include this potential price rise. If you are a believer that the Cdn juniors will get better prices as time goes on, you may wish to adjust your NAV calculations as well.
