RE:RE:RE:RE:$35-37 Today

RE:RE:RE:RE:$35-37 TodayI wouldn't worry about "the street" too much Obscure...they're big boys.... I've actually met a bunch of The Oilmen a few years back in Alberta... I've met some of the so called players of the Street as well in NY...

....My money is on the Oilmen...I was quite blown away at how well they know they're industry

.....Also the Saudi Oil Minister was just in NYC within tha last 2 months and told them quite emphatically "Don't Bet Against Oil and Gas"

How the hell do you fight Covid without Oil and Gas?

Anyways, I know the street have many tools like HFT, deep pockets, etc... and I hope they are successful in lowering the share price to cover their shorts.... many of us will be buying more as this is a No Brainer.

FYI - The Street better Haul A$$ because if some sh!t throws a cruise missle in the South China Sea or there's a take over bid for SU... you'll be covering your shorts at $60.00++

Good luck, and thanks for confirming that SU is the deal of a century right now.

Thanks for the chuckle.  I will definitely use that line in the future as it sends a message but in a delightful way.

While humour is wonderful, I have to say that I know Experienced and he is an extremely knowledgeable investor and a high quality human being.  In his post that you poked fun at (in a very funny way btw):

* 1) and 2) were facts
* 3) provides insight into the depth of Experienced's knowledge as what he said is actually
true.  The street doesn't like surprises and doing a 180 degree turn on guidance is
not how you win friends on the street, even if it is good news. Mgmt either doesn't care
what the street thinks or they don't get it.  I think the SU mgmt group has a chip on its
shoulder which is not a good thing as the street has a long memory.
* 4) the company has offered guidance of its plans which don't include growth (at least at this
time).  I agree with Experienced's concern about the lack of growth if SU maintains the
strategy beyond the time required to restore its balance sheet to health and to reward
loyal shareholders.  However, over the longer term, the street rewards growth and
penalizes stagnation, especially if a company operates within a sunset industry.
