RE:RE:RE:RE:NuttalTo respond to the last point first.....No, he has only his self interest in holding on
to power and secondly to advance his climate change ideology to the detriment of
Canadians.
When you lack common sense, you are unable to even compromise let alone be
pragmatic. That is the problem with zealots and extremism in general. Once they
get an idea in their head. it's impossible to change their thinking no matter what
persuasive facts or arguments are before them. Case in point. the insurrectionists
and supporters who continue to believe the election was stolen from Trump.
And yes, you have to wait until the next election to remove him. At least the US has
midterms that can sway the balance of power. What I fear is that with the co-operation
of the NDP, he will get in again because he has played the climate change card to
the nth degree and thereby managed to sidestep or obfuscate the benefits of a strong
oil & gas policy for this country.
I'm sure there are many like me who are frustrated and depressed at what is going on
but there are also a lot of people who are ambivalent and unaware of the tragic scope
of consequences that this gov't is wreaking upon this country.
