I believe history tends to repeat itself, for example when we look at the automobile replacing horse and buggy. It was still very popular to deliver milk by horse and buggy well into the fifties, more that a half century after the automobile was introduced. Sure transition may be happening a little quicker today, but like my last post I still think a lot has to happen for that transition is to happen.
Also, not unlike tobacco oil will still be around.
My guess is there will be a good mix of EVS and petrol vehicles for a good while as eventually EVS will dominate once newer tech and infrastructure is produced.
It is clear, to me right now oil demand is increasing not decreasing. That may change, but certainly not yet.
