RE:Yikes!!!....All this NOW makes sense....

RE:Yikes!!!....All this NOW makes sense....Hello again friends. I'm posting this reply to both Mariorizzi & Barneyj44 and anyone  else that has posted a reply or has ANY doubts, questions what this really is.

First, i did NOT take this lightly and post the orginal coimments/news on a whim. I usually don't react this way when it's actual news, not opinions or personal views. There "might" be a case made by some of the members here who shown some relecutance or doubts this is anything really meaningful, but then i ask you......who is really telling the truth here and who is lying? Suncor or AER & the Albertan environmentalists? Personally, i'm not quite sure myself, as something doesn't add up for one or the other.

For example, if this was a simple case of just "natural runoff" water due to perceppetation & snow, then would it not stand to reason this would be a regular & YEARLY occurance and happen at least once every so often? Sucor has been in operation for decades, i NEVER heard of something like this happening or being made public. Yeah, sure spills due happen and are eventually reported & made public BUT something like this? I don't know, something is off here and one side is either hiding something or making something more than it is. And i'm not quite sure who is......

Also, if this was just a case of "move along here notthing see!", then WHY would AER
be "reconsidering" thier decision to approve an expansion at Fort Hills PRIOR (and the exact same time) to the actual "spill" being made public. The two are definitely linked but for which reasons i'm not quite sure.

Imho opinion, there could only be three things happening here. One, this isn't just a simple matter of water runoff because of nature and Suncor is lying through their teeth and doing damage control. Two, this is a case of AER overreacting to a situation which is truly a regular occurance and this was somewhat "exceptional". Three, someone or some grouop is going out of their way by taking an "event" (or a non event in this case) in the normal operatiions of Suncor, and making it out more than it really is, with the objective of tarnishing Suncor's image. Which one are you 100% certain is the real turth here? I don't know. But the fact (cannot confirm this is the case btw) that AER is "acting" is very telling in my book.

I guess we'll just have to wait until more details trickle out and more is known of what's REALLY going on here......
