RE:What's up with Fort Hills?

RE:What's up with Fort Hills?"What's up with Fort Hills?"

I think this topic has been discussed quite a bit, at length by myself, Experience & others over the past month so since CanocoP's ROFR being exercised. I assume since they've had that somewhat unexpected action from ConocoP & Total probably playing hardball, it has delayed their intended plans. In addition, that unfortunate breach of their systems & network by hackers in June probably put a significant delay into any further discussions with Total to come to some mutual beneficial resolution. Because of that "unfortunte" event, Suncor has some serious issues to resolve & rectify and MUCH bigger fish to fry than securing Fort hills right away..........IMHO.

"Otherwise Suncor now pays a 5.4% dividend with good prospects for future increases and capital gains."

IF you're in Suncor for solely for the divvy & maybe some capital gians, THEN you're in the WRONG stock for that. Imho, there are much better options in the energy sector with more potential, better prospects and definitely much less risk.
