 I think part of this is something I have talked about in previous posts and that is the trend in Western economies to become more Marxist and as such exert more control over the natural business ecosystem. This is compounded by the Governments crowding out the pool of investment capital through excessive borrowing requirements.

To me an interesting thing is the potential impact of AI.  I see it as having in the future as big positive impact on productivity but at the same expanding the number of dead end jobs as it replaces more and more knowledge workers.

From an investment perspective, as I have mentioned in previous posts, this is an area to seriously look at in terms of the potential for certain industries to increase productivity and hence profits and hence their SP growth.  I also talked a long time ago about the Metaverse in this regard as a place to invest....the gains in the Magnificent 7 (although TSLA is having some issues right now) are a prime example.
