RE:Some Observations From My Trip to Spain

RE:Some Observations From My Trip to Spaini bet u dunno that diesel VW and Mercedes Benz in EU have better fuel economy than similar VW/MB vehicles in north america, and it's illegal to import them into north america.
Experienced wrote: While in Spain, I rented a diesel Mercedes Benz SUV - comparable in size to a North American fullsized SUV.  Now, most of my holiday was spend hiking in relatively low populated area and as such, very little mileage was in towns and cities.  With that said, the diesel fuel economy I got was about double what people normally get in NA with a gas ICE.

In local currency (ie Euros), the price of a litre of diesel (which was cheaper than gasoline - unlike what i see in Canada) was approximately the same in Canada.  Clearly, locals with diesel engines driving smaller cars (typical situation) would get even higher fuel economy.  So the cost of fuel wasn't really a big deal (at least to me).

With all that as background, I decided (for fun) at the start of the holiday to keep track of the number of TSLAs I saw during my time there.  I must admit that in one of the larger towns where my wife and I went grocery shopping I did see a place where there were Level 3 EV charging stations.

The answer will shock you for sure!!
