With oil over $65.00 per barell

This is a dream for all oil companies.Looking at the chart of Suncor, new investors are maybe waiting for a pullback in s/p that will never come, and at some point certain funds will have to concede ,that enough is enough, and jump on this severely undervalued oil play!!!Suncors s/p, is still in negative territory,(last year),and this is beyond incredible. If Suncor do not show maximum bought buyback shares in this last month, then there is something terribly wrong. We have less then a month left in the first quarter,2021,and a "dimwit",would even realize that Suncor is making cash ,way beyond any expectations, since the beginning of this year.I realize also that oilsands are out of favour, but making money is not.EXTREMELY STRONG BUY!!!

I just want SU sp not to depend on oil prices so much..

Agree with the posts but would priorize steps forward..1/ Stock buybacks'''' 2/ return dividend to pre pandemic level $.42 share Q...... 3/  and communicate progress of cost cutting measures.........

For tax reasons I prefer buybacks over dividends but I'm not sure the market agrees; I believe they can afford to reinstate the dividend which would put the company at a $34-35 share price relative to CNQ yield wise. Even better though, an acquisition.  CNQ keeps growing, SU is not keeping up.  I suggest IPL.

More share buybacks is the best option for awhile.

Under normal conditions, the company is quite resilient in regard to oil price fluctuations, due to its downstream assets.... Unfortunately, with the COVID oil crash, demand for refined products have also gotten slammed and are still weaker than under normalized conditions.

Good post Chirs007. CNQ is more of a commodity play; Suncor is as well but also very much a COVID VACCINE recovery play. So its normal that its lagging CNQ.
