Why would anyone buy gas at at PetroCanada?

When   you  can  get   4.00  off  at  Imperial  if you buy 40 litres and cash out 4000 PC  Optimum Points   and  when  I did  this yesterday gas  was   .5 cheaper  at  IMO   .    Perhaps   this   has been addressed   before on this board?

PC   Optimum   alone    .   No  PC   credit  card   needed  .   However  on  occasion   one   may  get   bonus   points   using  PC   Credit  card.   One  also  earns points  on  the

True    .  But   at  the  moment  the   PC   Optimum  discount  is  much   more  lucrative  .  Also   the  only    place  you  can   get   Petro   Points  is at  a  Petro   Canada outlet.  While&

Thank you Penny, wasn't aware of this. Actually, Petro points is a nightmare, another Suncor operational issue.  I linked my RBC card to petro after that it stopped adding points to my balance and the 3cents litre discount promoted by RBC never worked.  It took a 20 minute phone call to have them manually add those lost points back, no compensation for my time, no compesation for

I  have   the linked  to  Petro  points  RBC  card   as  well ----never had  a  problem (no longer using for gas). In the summer I  usually  buy   at   the  Indian Reserve   near  my cottage.  They have the best price.
