Bad earnings coming up???

Profits in energy moving into NQ on a rip, now up 4%. Use XLE as your leading indicator. CNQ, CVE, IMO, SU, all beat down nicely while crude stays relatively flat. US$ strength dropped gold and US listed Canadian oils. Volumes very low. No news. Buying 2M$ more today of the above on the US side near or before close as it turns, perhaps right now before the hour.

Sold 2M$ of CNQ, CVE, IMO, and SU on US side, for +2% net gain. Waiting for reentry. Watching NG names, still too high given falling NG prices.

Plenty of the other oil stocks I hold are taking a drubbing as well. Wcp, Cpg, Arc etc. I would think earnings would follow suit like Exon, Imperial Oil and Shell who all knocked it out of the park
