A SPEED CALL To The BATTERY BOYS' SHATTERED DREAMS

Another reason Musk jacked up Supercharging prices: To deter people from fast charging, which was killing Tesla batteries faster, triggering a surge in warranty claims, causing massive decline in free cash flow in recent quarters. Many $TSLA batteries died before 25,000 miles

Tesla fired its Supercharger boss because the Supercharger network was a financial boondoggle. With costs spiraling out of control, $TSLA began jacking up charging rates, which annoyed Musked owners coping with poor vehicle reliability, high insurance rates, abysmal service. x.com/factschaser/st…

Musk fired hundreds of employees working on the Tesla Supercharger network — the last remaining competitive advantage for $TSLA because it was a financial boondoggle and no longer competitive as many car buyers turned to self-charging hybrids from Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, etc

Sources tell me the Tesla Supercharger network was a financial boondoggle — it cost MORE to maintain and upgrade it it vs margins it produced (most EV owners charge at home)
revenues were hard hit by rival chargers, free chargers at shopping malls, surge in hybrid sales etc.

Tesla Supercharger network was arguably its last and most important competitive advantage, which was shattered the minute Musk accepted Biden’s federal tax dollars and opened up the network to non-Tesla EVs, which strained the network, causing spectacular failures in winter.
