Number of Issues with EVs which have not been talked about in the popular press.

1.....where do all the batteries go after their useful life (ie 10 years) with all their toxic chemicals?

2...some of the materials needed to build them are rare earth metals sourced from counrtries which are controlled by China.  This raises all kinds of security issues to say the least!!

3....I saw a video of a guy trying to recharge his TSLA battery at a Petrocan station.  He had to run his car to warm it up in cold weather before the machine to charge his battery would work. Plus, while it was cheaper for the battery fill-up than filling his tank with gas, he had to wait 40 minutues including the false starts before his battery was up to 80% charge.  Question - who will want on a road trip to wait 30-40 minutes for each fill up every 200-300k compared to a few minutes with a gas engine after 600K of driving?
