Anybody else confused? As I sit here contemplating the future after a nice Father'd Day with my sons and grandkids, I have to admit that I don't have a clue where we are headed.
The above statement is a revelation for me as I have always known what to do next, or at least I think I knew.
Biden gets Trump arrested on the day that information comest out about Biden and his kid accepting bribes. Which story do I believe? I dunno.
Will the Dems get voted back in or will the GOP find a way to succeed in spite of Trump? I dunno.
The Ukraine/Russia war seems pretty cut and dried, but is it? I dunno. The more I read, the more confused I get.
Trudea is our leader and must have our best interests at heart. Right? I don't think so.
The FED intends to keep its foot on the throat of the economy until it achieves 2% inflation. But will the FED succeed? I dunno. Even if the FED succeeds, how much damage will it cause to the economy in both the short and potentially longer term? I dunno
EV sales are ramping up (latest I read is that EV sales currently make up 14% of all new car sale world wide). The trend to an all EV world seems inevitable, but with Ford saying it is going to keep increasing ICE sales for the next few years, and China buying more and more oil, will the demand for oil outstrip supply, or the opposite. I dunno.
Will SU and CVE and CNQ or the juniors start performing in the near future as some here suggest? I dunno.
Can we count on TSLA and NVDA or any of the tech stocks to lead us into what seems to be an inevitable tech driven future? I think so, but if a recession hits, anything trading at a high multiple will get punched in the mouth.
I feel paralysed when it comes to the stock market. The TDB8150 ETF is paying 4.3% daily interest which seems to be a safe place to watch until I can make up my mind. Until the market indicates a new direction one way or another, it doesn't surprise me that from a percentage basis, there is more PRO money sitting on the sidelines than we have seen in a generation.
