Wasn't aware there were US troops occupying Iran. That being said, if you think they are wrong, short some QQQ or XQQ and buy some XLE or XEG. Simple pairs trade. That being said, you better have a strong stomach.

wait till pandemic over, you will need fossil fuel to fly the planes and cargo ships. Long haul trucks needs diesel. Energy sector will recover. EVs will have their bigger share, but my internal combustion engine will keep on breathing for another 10years.

Oil isn't worthless but in time, it's value will dminish as solar, wind & tidal power sources are utilised. It's unlikely we'll ever see $75/bbl oil again. China may be stockpiling commodityes & other importe resources, as big-mouth Trump tries to provoke China with insults. China doesn't seem likely to be provoked into any agressive action but we can't say that
