Debt Ceiling
Well another day and still no deal. The GOP house members are heading off for the
long weekend. Its unthinkable that they would let the country default because of
selfish political ends.
If the worst happens, then every politician in Washington should be held accountable
on both sides. They are all culpable and guilty of dereliction of duty, gross negligence and treason. To sabatoge your own country for political brinksmanship is beyond forgiveness and every single one of them should be voted out of office on
the next election.
Right now they are still engaging in the blame game but the time for that is fast
coming to an end.
In the words of Benjamin Franklin in 1787, "you have a republic, if you can keep it"
Well good luck with that. Surely common sense will prevail......

Migraine...agree it does look more promising. Your comment about 99% reminded me of a quip by a statistic prof in university - "If something has a 90% chance, the other 10% happens 9 times out of 10"...lol Apparently from what I have heard is that McCarthy expects to lose about 30 Republicans in a vote but will get 30 Dems to vote yes.
