RE:RE:RE:FFS!!!!Wow, it is extremely difficult to not chime in here.... I urge readers to not buy into the narrative that Biotek, Mustang, and Metalsguy try to spin here. Things take time and there is a large reliance on 3rd party services which can result in delays beyond the control of Sernova. If you know anything about supply chain, then you should know that things don't alway go smoothly.
Think about the manufacturing process for the pouch. You need appproved design specifications issued to the Manufacturing vendor, who then will likely need a meeting to discuss any fine details. At which point they need to manufacture the device. After that, did you know that the cell pouch needs to be sent to a sterilization facility? I've got no idea how long that takes, but once it is completed, the pouch needs to be packed, labeled and shipped (did you know that shipping takes time? They aren't sending the pouch through amazon prime delivery....).All of this happens in the hands of third party vendors. And then, a 3rd party in Dr. Witkowski needs to schedule a surgery with the trial participant who, prior to that surgey happening, would need to be re-evaulated, and instructed to begin the immuno-suppressant regiment. Again, all of this can cause delays depending on the schedules. You can't expect Dr. Witkowski to just drop everything to put the pouch in someone. He's a working doctor. Not a Sernova employee...
Again, all of these things take time and you can't expect Sernova to be press releasing every little delay and point of progress. What do you want a press release saying, "Sernova announces Dr. Witkowski has receieved the cell pouch", and then "Sernova announces that Dr. Witkowski has schedule an implantation surgery." The fact of the matter is, they are not going to press release this information. However, does this mean that they cannot publicly share this information in another way? No. They could engage on Social Media, or even here on the Bull Boards and share this kind of information. But I think in order to cover their asses, they would rather not, on account of it being difficult to determine what is considered material news and what isn't.
My point in all of this is that instead of trying to jump to conclusions, making blanket statements and thinking you "know" it all, why don't you try and think critically in a business mindset. Why don't you put yourself in their shoes and try to speculate what could have actually happened.
