Mackie (083) & Integral (017) Both Market Makers

Some are wondering about what happened to Mackie "083", long a market maker for SVA.

I was fortunate to speak with Sernova and it turns out that Mackie is still a market maker.

When one looks at Integral Wealth "017" and Mackie Research "083", one sees that Mackie is a long established, think old guard, type of House.

Whereas Integral wealth (017) is brand new having started in 2003, i.e. it uses a new approach to market making and it is tapped into Europe (think Germany).

The following excerpts illustrate that "017" uses a different market making approach to "083". Nowhere in Mackie do you get this kind of detail.

I also note that it is my guess that the goon squad was checking "017" out this morning after the news release. The computers were busy all of a sudden (500 share lots). Based on the present price of $0.285 on just under 400k, "017" passed the test.

Market making has three main functions:

i) to maintain an orderly market
ii) to enhance liquidity
iii) to provide market intelligence

All of these functions are linked. By definition, an orderly market requires a reasonable level of liquidity. If a stock’s liquidity is improved, it will display trading characteristics that make it more appealing to investors. Wider investor participation creates a more orderly market which in turn attracts more liquidity. Quality market intelligence creates opportunities for trade which would not otherwise exist, thereby enhancing liquidity.

Wally, did you ask Ray if they are both on the payroll now? 14k a month? I'm sure they are earning their worth. Besides with that fresh PP, we have lots of cash to throw around.

Integral is doing a hell of a job.   Even tricked Bio into thinking a PP was coming and probably has him irritated with the stable price and lack of swing trading profits.  Anyways as someone who is in this long I appreciate Philips focus.  He is fed up with all the BS and is acting quickly to make these interventions  that provide for  a more stable platform for the tech ...more

Rb2211: You are unabashedly more direct than I have been regarding Integral Wealth (017). I repeat your wording below for both my agreement and your direct emphasis. "Integral is doing a hell of a job." Yes, that 29 October presentation is a welcome, unexpected stunner! We wait while the SVA pot continues to percolate... Go Integral Wealth Go! Cheers (no emojis this post), jwall

Wally, think you mis-read my MSG. I sent you the link so you could post the positive pieces from it with highlights and emojis for the members of this board like you normally do. I have nothing against emojis, Sonny doesn't like them because they remind him of Ray.

It doesn’t take much to trick bio, Red. Rumour has it that he is a washed up broker, of the undesirable kind, and with a sour attitude to boot. I wonder how many lives he’s ruined? Now, apparently he’s reaching out to wally with his victims hat on. Does he wonder why he thinks he’s being picked on? (not directed at you but generically speaking here) There is a bright side bio. You ve been a big ...more

Keep telling yourself whatever makes you happy geezer. I'm not a broker, never been one and also don't feel I'm being picked on. You're the one who picked on wally till he courted you with rig pig talk. I can dig up the posts if you like? You have your facts twisted but dementia will do that. Call the place dairy airs to symbolize the hot air you're always spewing out of both ...more
