If we could get that TSX uplisting right about now, Sernova's story would make for a good kick while they're down.

No one knows who Sernova is, only Vertex and ViaCyte. I'm curious to know why it was put on hold, I'll do some digging. Vertex seemed to be surprised by the decision. Hopefully Sernova is not at risk for the same issue. .

Vertex has lost 4 billion off market cap. They could have bought Sernova for a quarter of that.

The patient had a serious adverse event of neutropenia, an abnormally low count of white blood cells That's what did it.

Don't forget the ipsc tech needs to be acquired AND proven. The conformal coating needs to be proven. A billion in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. Not saying it's impossible but it will take many years to prove out and by then things can change drastically. I'd happily sell my shares for a 1 bil offer. .

At the rate management is moving, inflation and the Frank Hollar mint printing free shares may have chipped away at a 1 billion offer such that it would be the same as selling today.

As per thr AGM, the conformal coating technology IS WORKING preclinically so far. As in, white blood cells can't get in, and insulin can get out

Mice have been cured of diabetes over and over for years. What works in mice doesn't always work in humans so I'd take that statement with more than a grain of salt. Maybe a box.

MoneyMouth, if I had a penny for every drug or device that worked in preclinical studies, I would have retired decades ago. Preclinical means zip..nada..nothing.

And if I had a penny for every one that didn't work preclinically, but then worked clinically, I'd also have zip, nada nothing... and live in a fantasy land where preclinical results didnt matter
