Anyone have any more info on DRI's BioHub? It appears they were able to get someone off insulin way back in 2015. From what I see, they could have a device that does what the Cell Pouch does.

See link below for a November 2021 article that indicates that DRIs "mini-pancreas" phase I/II trial is ongoing and that DRI announced its first successful results in 2016. Does make one wonder what has been going on since 2016, though. DRI website mentions this program but provides no updates either as I'm sure you know. Yeah, I've seen that. Weird part is that Camillo Ricordi and Tomei were the ones who came up with the Conformal Coating. If they are working on something similar on their own, why would they license it out to Sernova? Only thing I can think of is that they don't have cells but this is from 2014 so I'm sure they could have teamed up with Semma, Evotec, etc. etc.  The other
