Service Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust. The Company operates through two segments: hotel investments and net lease investments. It owns a portfolio of hotels and net lease service and necessity-based retail properties. The Company owns over 221 hotels with approximately 37,000 rooms or suites located in over 36 states, in the District of Columbia, Ontario, Canada and San Juan, Puerto Rico. It owns approximately 752 service-oriented retail properties with over 13.3 million square feet located in approximately 42 states. The Company’s net lease portfolio is occupied by over 175 tenants, which is operating approximately 137 brands in over 21 industries. The Company's net lease portfolio is leased to tenants that include travel centers, quick service and casual dining restaurants, movie theaters, health and fitness centers, grocery stores, automotive parts and services and other businesses in service-oriented and necessity-based industries.

RE: RE: RE: RE: Today is the last day of Q2,...Although very bullish on SVC, I am not quite sure I agree with $28-$30M in Rev's for t his quarter. IMO, that is high considering last quarter and the choppiness of quarters to date - with Japan and lower sales to date.
I think it's prudent at this time, and in this market, (at least for me) to go with expectations set by the street - around $23M.  If it is a surprise to the upside, fantastic.  SVC looked to have turned the corner 2 of the last 3 quarters, and hopefully will get back to greater revenue growth in the final half of the year.
All that said, this presents an amazing "summer opportunity" to repurchase some shares that were shed at higher prices.  This is a keeper in my portfolio - with a LT position, and a shorter term swing position.
