RE:RE:Mega Selling for Peanuts

RE:RE:Mega Selling for PeanutsTHRK, I do not believe that the patent case is the issue. I have a few patents myself and undoubtedly SVC has patents filled in many countries including the US, Canada, and EU.  While defending a patent only in Canada can become expensive, it has no impact in countries such as the US on cash flow.  The reason is rather simple. In Canada one pays for legals fees by the hour while in the US it is often complete by contingency which is illegal in Canada. So, having the same patents in the US and more often completed first before Canada even if the company is Canadian is taken up on contingency where one pays the legal firm a percentage should it be won and therefore no affect on the business in Canada whatsoever.  I look at this patent troll no more than a boil on the butt of SVC. It will likely take a few years as well which once again would make sense to get legal assistance from a US based firm on a contingency basis. There is something else that is rending SVC below its true value and the patent suit is not one of them.  Thursday will come soon enough. Good luck and may the $$$ winds be friendly.
