RE: RE: Anonymous short-lived; E&Y?

RE: RE: Anonymous short-lived; E&Y?Splitting hairs (maybe), I am, but appointing a new auditor is not necessarily firing the old one. However, I am accepting someone else's argument here, and voting confidence to Rui and the Board with their recommendation to again retain/appoint E&Y, more so than voting for E&Y expressly -- I'll go with whatever this great group spends their valuable time considering and recommending. I expect they have/are thinking this one through. The proxy form was drawn up AFTER Muddy Waters/Sino Forest/E&Y came out in June, so SVM Board would have contemplated the option of going with a different firm, and I do not think they would have paid any great measure to the fact their CFO is former E&Y. It does help me to see that E&Y have been (apparently) extra diligent with their China clients post Muddy Waters/Sino (v.ZUN, for example). Under professional practice guidelines (plus legal counsel recommendations), there is extremely little (as in zilch) that an auditing firm will say in any situation such as Sino and the recent Anonymous letter about SVM.
