It presents as part of a possible "defense" to the suit brought against them by Silvercorp. They'd "been hoodwinked with fraudulent data, and roadbed stone, and purportedly China filed returns", etc., yadda yadda yadda. "Can't trust any Chinese," they would say, "not even your own!". One would think it would not fly very far, but then again when straws are all that's there, you go ahead and grasp at them.
