A bit of an odd scenario though - using the Company's (our) money to repurchase shares for the benefit of a select group?  What can you do?

The one year target is discounted. This can easily be $6+ at the current profitability run rate. Just not an industry others get excited about, let alone the size of the company.


Any privatization would require the votes of shareholders. While there are some weak hands selling at these cheap price, I do believe they would need to make an offer closer to $4 for the acquisition to pass.
