Chart pattern

Go check my posts. Major breakout today. Highest volume in a while. Break of the long term downtrend line coupled with hitting 52 week highs and breaking the previous 1.35 weekly resistance area. I stand with my technical analysis target of $6.20

I'm still amaze how you can put a target price? In technical analysis I don't see a way to determine a target price unless you do a fundamental analysis? Are you sure you are not mixing both analysis? The only technical shareprice I can guess is the support and resistance from the charts for the weeks to come. You can measure the move based on the length of the pattern. The patterns been forming for years in fact. You can draw a downtrend line that it broke out of today from years back. There's an inverse head and shoulders pattern on the monthly chart that's formed over years. This is a very strong pattern that suggests significant upside. $6 is my conservative estimate.   The shareprice can be guess from a swing move. As for a shareprice after a breakout there's no target to be put on lolll that's the beauty of technical analysis....if you put a price it's because you are mixing value from a fondamental point of view like you were saying about your last post about revenu, Aristotle, 80 million cap, guessing 2 millions in revenues for next ...more

There is a way though. By measuring the length of the pattern and using that same length to measure the height of the breakout target. It worked with Namaste when I bought at 25 cents years ago. The pattern suggested it was an easy 10 bagger, but it ended up going even further. I understand why you're saying but I've found from past experience that there is a measurable length to identify ...more

  ok I understand your point, if your'e refering to a resistance create from a few years ago(which you call patern) I agree with you can guess when the top resistance would be set, which you call it target, I call it resistance....different word but same thing. As for a price target like you see from financial analyst, they don't have a choice to look at the fondamental of a company ...more
