If you resign, all options vested or not are terminated on your last day of work. IF you were terminated you had 90 days to excercise any vested options. All options that have been granted prior to October 1, 2001 will vest immediately. All options that have been granted after October 1, 2001 will vest in accordance with the original vesting schedule.
