RE: TWU Members need to vote on the TELUS OfferStuart...if you were involved in bargaining in a previous life...you know that it is done at the table, not thru the media. I have also been on a bargaininng committee representing union workers in a previous life for the OTEU so I am somewhat suspicious of your experience in bargaining.
There are legal steps to follow, and so far the TWU has followed every one of them. Telus has not. Period, Not even you can spin your way out of that. You may not like the Labour Code, but it is there for a reason. Telus has choosen for whatever reason, to ignore the law. Does that mean that you and I can "choose" which laws we want to ignore?
This is an investment board, giving members the opportunity to exchange opinions and ideas about share issues, trends, and insight into what makes this a good or bad investment.
If you wish to tell the world what a bad bad organization the TWU is, then go elsewhere..
I have not seen one positive idea from you regarding investments.
Others also disagree with the TWU (Red, I hear your name), but do offer positive ideas about the value of this investment.
