Money is important, but it is not about the money. Telus is demanding manditory overtime, elimination of the contracting out clause, being replaced with a vague promise not get rid of anyone, as well as they want control of the pension fund, and in the next clause, put in a disclaimer that they are not responsible if the fund goes bust. The pension fund is doing very well, is fully funded..and I have my suspicious why the company want this money. MOre than likely the managament pension fund is not doing so well and Telus wishes to "boost' it.
