i sold transalta years and years ago when it was trading higher than trp and made the switch. do you remember when mulroney gave us all a 500k lifetime capital gains exemption and the liberals promptly took it back?

Hey LEO__OF COURSE I Fondly REMEMBER the Capital Gains Exemption for Ghossh Sake eh !!!!!!!!!__BOTH the wife and Moi took FULL Advantage of this__even got a Lot of IT in ALL 3 Kids underage Trust Accounts__before they SHUT the DOOR in 1994 under Cretien. However were NOT able to take the FULL 500K as we were NOT Business Owners, Farmers, nor Fishermen__THUS the MAX ALLOWABLE was ONLY 100K for
