Blackstone

In May of 2020, Blackstone bought a position in Tricon Residential and paid book value for the shares. The stock is now trading at 87% of the book value. It would not surprise me if Blackstone are looking to buy out the company. In any event, the stock seems undervalued. 

We would agree. For a long term player (ie. those who can look forward to the 'next' cycle) the stock is quite cheap. (5iResearch)
