Re victim vs predator
Waneta dam issue, teck got 1.2 billion up front and lease agreement of 20 years with annual price increase of 2 percent so not a bad deal in my opinion especialy in wrt inflation. Those dollars facilitated copper mining dvelopment capitalizing on the strategic purchase of aur resounces a decade or so ago.

what you are conveniently forgetting is Teck needed the $1 billion to cover its Fort Hilld fiasco -- and by giving up Wanneta the also lose the only other place in BC form which power can be exported south --an act of desparation indeed
