Teck is being pressured in all directions by Government and Environmental groups to conform to their scatter Brained Idealologies. I do not agree with what they have sold off or are trying to divest from, to make these entities Happy, which is a Big mistake. If you really knew what the details of the false accusations made against Teck are you would have some sympathy. One little example of what they have to deal with, is being accussed of causing the collapse of the Fording River Fish habitat. There has only been approximately 1800 fish in the Fording River at anyone time in History, being a small River compared to others. What I know caused the Rivers collapse is, over Fishing. You can't take the Breeding Fish out of a small population and expect it to survive. This, Teck has no control. But Teck still does have the Gene pool from those fish in ponds on the Fording Mine site; Fish which number in the thousands.
