This is something we are trying to work out. But the oncologist at Princess Margaret and the sponsor both have to agree. Hopefully we can get that all settled in the next few weeks.

We are very grateful for my wife to be able to receive this experimental medication, but this sponsor is super conservative and safety oriented. They required the patient to do a weekly blood test and physical assesment for the rest of the trial. For us it means driving to Detroit from Toronto and back once a week. But even for others living closer by, for patients who are so sick, it becomes a bit much. I have not seen this in any other trial. Usually, this is just for the first cycle.
