Basics
Can someone explain to me the Taimed connection? Does Thtx own the two drugs they sell, do they “rent” them from Taimed... TIA

THTX owns the full global rights to Egrifta. THTX owns the just marketing rights to Trogarzo in the US and Europe and shares the sales from those two regions with Taimed.

Thanks, can this company be profitable without winning the NASH battle?

If they were not doing any R&D, they would be profitable right now. But the company would also slowly start vanishing as those two drugs are not going to have sales for their current indications forever. So, it is really not practical for them to not spend on R&D.

Well the cancer news seems like a long shot, without a Nash win, then this seems like a lotto ticket..... unless they have other drugs in the pipeline that I can't see anywhere

The cancer situation is likely significantly better than how you have described it. And the NASH situation looks pretty promising since we have 6 experts saying the FDA should allow a phase III. So, maybe it is not as dire as you seem to think.

I definitely think phase 3 happens, but they could be second or third drug approved by then, and if they don't own all the rights, then the payoff is muted? If I understand the rights part.... I did buy some lotto tickets - so I hope the cancer news is more promising then I understand it

The actually do own all the rights to Egrifta, which is the drug they are testing in NASH. If you are convinced that the NASH phase III happens, then you should be a happy investor.

The defining feature of the cancer program is it's VERY EARLY, it's promising with a whole bunch of caveats. Value that how you want. I'll take a 20 mil investment in a program if it delivers the third approved NASH drug, no brainer.

The cost of the entire phase III will likely be more like $65-$70 million. I believe it was $15-$17 million for the first year.

You seem to have invested in a company not knowing anything about? Hard to believe!

I'm curious ... how many "lotto tickets" did you buy after an hour of research? I see you are new as of today ... how far back did you read the postings here? -LT

Bought 5k shares, been watching and reading the boards on this stock for years, saw it hit 11 and then 1.30 in March..... judging by the reaction here to the presentation, might not hold them long.
