Just wondering if anyone got any allocation on this board? It was clearly such a bad deal for current shareholders which can only mean it is a GREAT deal for new shareholders?

So if nobody on this board bought any additional shares than our representation just dropped by 32%! From 30% down to 20%! Our voice is not as strong as it once was.

The way the company views this is they needed to diversify their shareholder base away from us, for our own good. There is likely truth to that. But the way it was done was less than ideal. Hopefully, the new institutional owners will have enough market power with US brokers who are likely to follow THTX to compel them to pick up coverage and we will salvage something from this situation. There are two separate issues going on here. The deal was atrocious based on the timing, pricing and Canadian broker focus. That the company picked up some new institutional investors that might help the company get some new US broker coverage (this is a reach but I am looking for any positive that might come from this debacle as I move through the stages of grief!) is a positive.

@archeo. A bought-deal means that the lead broker is writing a check to the company. Therefore the broker is on the hook for any shares that it cannot place. It also explains why the commission on such deals is higher. Give Mackie some credit for having found buyers for the share offering. In case anyone is trying to compare the Unit to the share, the unit costs $2.71 and gets you 1 share worth about $2.59 and a half a warrant worth about $.12.  You should compare the $2.59 they got to the current NASDAQ quote of $2.65 or so.  Right now, the unit is a cheaper way in than the market quote.  No doubt you'll see some quick traders in there post 19th.  You'll

This means that a very small increase in the SP will allow the Unit Holders to sell the shares in the open market at or above the unit cost and simply hold the warrants at no cost and participate in any upside above the warrant exercise price Is there a hold period before the shares are separated from the Unit?

We've heard in the past they said they disliked the concentration and felt it was an issue, so SPCEO  was definitely on the "no call" list.   Questions for Piet to ask IR: 1. Explain when the idea of a financing of this type first was discussed?  Did this originate with the CFO, CEO or BOD? 2. Please explain the thinking behind this timing, behind the size

How can it be that many obscure companies gets deals done for much more money ????? We are a merely 200M marketcap company, we sell products now and earn ca 60 M/year, we have a Fase 3 program to be started in Nash and we have at least 2 starting Fase 1 in oncology............., but NO ONE in the Pharma field is intrested????? 1998novl - (1/14/2021 8:46:40 AM)  Placement

What happens to the offering if the current shareprice is below the offering price by a significant margin?  Say $3 as apposed to $3.50 CND.  Do they reprice the offering or just have difficulty selling to clients?

No the "bought deal" means the price is guaranteed.

If there is one thing that would prevent me from being a new shareholder, it is this boards comments. for the ones talking about getting out, the price has to rise soon to unload the bought deal, so hang in there and see what happens. with all the money to be made in nash we should be good after ph3 works out for us
