Tons of options at a very low low price!!!! I think the timing for the option grant is much earlier   Than previous years???? Is there a rush!!!! The sickening part is that apparently all you need to qualify to receive options  is to be on the payroll .

I'm not completely opposed to it for a few reasons, but I can't say it looks great that they changed the timing of when they've done that in the past. I know there's many inputs into these things and I have often thought that the way PL's pryed his old colleagues away from Pfizer is to lure them with contractually agreed upon options as part of their packages. This is not about options to newly recruited ex Pfizer employees!!I have no problem if they award iptions to new recruits as enticements..Newcomers have ti be rewarded on share price gains from the date they start contributing to the success This is not the situation here....New filings again today for long time BOD members and employees

As at Nov 30 2020 there were 3 203 693 options outstanding at an average exercise price of 3.59 cad or 2.76 USD Add to that options granted in March/April 2021....

Andre Dupras? New HR guy from Pfizer Canada. Quite generous! I hope these elevated options are in lieu of large cash compensation bump ups. I have no problem aligned employees and board, but it should substitute for bonus and cash comp somewhat. Otherwise its just a huge giveaway.

Maybe the options grants now tells us why they have been pretty quiet about the trial - they needed to get to the new fiscal year to grant options at a low price before announcing good results on the phase 1a or a partnership in cancer (or maybe even NASH).

From what I can tell from the proxy statements, it seems options grants were given in February or April in recent years. Also, the size of these grants are larger than normal. This incentive is BS. The SP will move up if they come up with really good results. I have always been against these options grants after an important employee is hired. Options should be given once, at hiring, with long term exercise date. But I know what they will say to justify it. We need to do it to stay competitive with other companies that are doing it. The yearly  granting of options is a fact of life that makes a lot of us mad but is part of the culture of most pub'ic companies and we have come to turn a blind eye when happening! The sickening part this time is not the grant of options it is the timing !! FDA has EUA =emergency use authorizatiom THTX has EOG= Emergency option grant!!! I think the thought is that they are not influencing the price at all.  But it's typically weak at year end because of tax selling as an illiquid small cap, they don't release any info; but they do pick the timing of when to issue them.  It "appears" like they rushed to lock it in the first day they could of the new year to take advantage of the year-end swoon, knowing

But please, don't tell me it surprises you. Like I've always said on this forum (over 15 years now), management, with full support of the BOD, will drain shareholders until the last drop.
