Good article but doesn't explain why thtx is a complete failure will the markets and shareholder rapport. They have actually accomplished alot with fda between nash and cancer but no credit for it because they dont tell anyone but a couple funds, it's honestly the worst strategy for a company i have seen. Especially with the seemingly tons of upside that they have

I mean this situation must have Paul pounding the table in anger.  The AGM is coming up and like mentioned by others, unless super good news happens they will be blasted off the stage by angry shareholders. Nothing less really.

They had SUCCESS with a couple of funds. Doesn't that tell you in a period with tightening purse strings that they probably engaged with many more.   I've read elsewhere is that significant amounts of biotech investment have shifted out of public biotech and into private companies. I guess this article does touch on the crazy dive into preclinical companies looking for the next ...more

Even though these guys set Feb 21 as the high watermark I think there is a question about whether the OO happened in buoyant times or after financing sentiment had flipped. Just to go back to the OO. My memory from Wino is they had an alternate deal lined up before the OO and it fell through. Maybe Wino can confirm that. That sounds like them exactly butting up against this changing sentiment. It's probably now more important they prove themselves to be a solid, serious company than to pump themselves as the next unicorn. Sounds like the tortoise wins the race ...more

Yes, this was confirmed in our shareholder inquiry call and the initial deal parties included at least 1 US firm.  However, the issue precluding that first deal from going through was described as something purely "technical" which sounded to me like it could have been anything from timing, regulatory issue, deal approval issue, etc...and not a bank turning away.  They were ...more

They have also assured us that the technicality has been addressed and is no longer an issue. But, that sadly cost us so much - horrible, rushed deal terms and another15 months without any decent analyst coverage. Had the original deal gone through, I suspect the last 15 months would have been far less painful.
