Next Week's Option Expiry
FYI: due to being in blackout period, the option expiry has been extended until 10 days after the blackout period ends.

I guess that would mean sometimes in February. The tax liability if any would be differed to April 2024

Come to think of it I dont think there are any SEC regulations preventing options that are about to expire to be exercised during the black out period...Recall that last year a massive amount of options were granred on DEC 1 the first day of the black out period,,,,1 am puzzled as to the why!!!!! Can you provide the link ?

I don't understand why the options expiry would need to be extended when it was preset so far in advance before any new knowledge of anything that might persuade how you trade. I suppose limiting the sale of the stock after option conversion would be warranted during the blackout period. How do we verify when these blackout periods take place?
