TFSA

Today canadians can deposit 6500$ in TFSA ( tax-free saving account) ...
this should bring some volume ...i hope

not for me... here is what I do with my Thera since a few years.. I transfer TH shares that I own from my investment account to my TFSA account in nature.  So I can use the lost (net years) and IF (BIG IF) Thera go back up it's now Tax free. My advise 101 :-)

You can't use the loss if you contribute in kind (you loose your loss) and if you have a gain you are taxed on it tought.

Since I'm not even shure I'll ever see my 3$ acb again, I will wait to contribute further more.  Having a blockbuster potential tax free in interesting but we're not there yet or anymore atm.
