I want to say that I make a living working as a Strategic Intelligence Consultant. I can give a hand gathering informations/emails about competitors and potential buyers. Onthecase, if you give me your email, I can send you an excel spreedsheet on a regular basis with the info.
I like the idea of hiring counsel. They will take some fees, but we may still see some of our money. They know their way through courts.
