From a industry competitive viewpoint, it would be much prefered for any interested party to acquire the assets in an open bidding process. In the end, they would end up with quality assets at a somewhat discounted price, takeout TID as future competitor (under a newly restructured company) and tighten up the supply and demand for such services with less players in the market.

There must be a demand for productive, revenue generating equipment in this sector. It's difficult to conceive otherwise.

Certainly CS and this so-called Walter character think so as they will either repackage TID into a newly profitable shareholderless operating company or flip it for a profit down the road. If the proceeds from any sale nets them out between $75M to $100M that represents ~0.20 to 0.25c per share for today's shareholders.

Their value lies in getting rid of us the shareholders. That's the strategy.
