How do you exlpain the SP drop ?

Great post on share concellation BigA.

I don't understand why the SP went from  .15 to .11 following the announcement on Thursday. Balance sheet is being cleaned up, old assets in Africa getting rid of, refinancing is imminent, HRT case looks good for TID, shares will be cancelled, all aspects with positive impact on the value of company. Does anybody have any thoughts on the outcome of the past 2 days.

Maybe because there are so many moving parts at the moment, and everything still has to be confirmed, the market is having a hard time wrapping its head around TID. Why don't investors realize the value of what's unfolding ? Still too much risks ? I think the call on Monday will be the real turning point.

I will offer MO on the decline in share price: Firstly there is a float (shares not owned by true insiders and also net of the 109 million returned by M&P) of just under 200,000,000 shares. On the TSX there were about 2.7 million shares traded the last two days. That my friends is a very measly 1.3% of the available float and just 1% of the new basic issued count of 266 million. Thank you for your insights dbeaude. Really appreciated. I didn't think about the free float. Those penny stocks do tend to be very volatile. To all those with very large positions... stick with them !
