RepugnantThe very idea that this company thought they could dispose of tailings into and displacing a body of water is totally unacceptable. This plan was completely flawed from the outset, at what point in time do people start to realize that in even proposing this type of environmental management is no longer acceptable, we are no longer in the 1700's when there was no science to prevent damage to the environment, there are far reaching consequences beyond taking away a body of water forever. Every person on this board who advocated this plan should be thankful that Ottawa was able to foresee the impact that this plan would have and denied the application.
