Lower Grades from Granite PitI have to say I am as surprised as anyone with the terrible results. There is no excuse for an operating mine like Gibraltar, not to understand the deposit. It will be interesting to hear John's take on this during the call. My only guess is they ran into some oxidized material as they went into the granite pit. From what I understand, they hadn't mined there in years. If that's the case no big deal the model hasn't changed. They knew they were going into the Granite pit and had anticipated lower grades and higher throughput. If that formula has changed the question becomes how does that change the LOM going forward. I will be listening attentively to this call.
