The only thing you missed from your great post is that Russel is an absolute joke and morin. The fact he is still CEO here says all there is to say why the SP goes no where after all these years. Wow!!!
Yes I own shares too 3,000 shares purchased at roughly $5.15 about 8 to 10 years ago if not longer. I got suckered in because I listened to the BS of Larry Edelson from "Weiss publication" who promoted the stock beyond belief with the anticipation of the "New Prosperity". How many times has Russel tried to get this project going but failed??? Too many to count.
First rule of investing is to invest with the right and competent CEO. If you get this wrong the company will go no where regardless of the assets it owns. Taseko has been mis managed beyond belief. I voted many times on the annual shareholder vote proxies to get rid of Russel and not to renew him. Very very surprised he is still here after all these years.
Certainly not buying more shares and never even contemplated it with the recent run up in price and all the hoopla going on I and will never buy any more shares of this turd. I knew these earnings would disappoint just like they always do. One excuse after another with Russel.
Copper has a very very good future and will be in demand with electric vehicles and other upcoming uses for copper. However there are much much much better companies out there than Taseko.
Get rid of Russell and I may change my mind about Taseko and it's future prospects.
