So if I understood that right the PP is basically a hedge against a drop in the price of copper.
Comment by nofluff on Nov 21, 2020 8:38pm
I think u understood that correctly. Here is the math. If copper drops we do not want 2 do florence. So no need to do a sale for protection!!! Brian mentioned how certain tko is that copper is going up. So got to sell cheap bfore it does. We r going to do a stream or jv.  We got 2 do it quick in case copper falls. We just sold 60% if florence for 40 million dollars cad. We will sell ...more

Please correct my math. I calls it likes I calcs it. There was no reason to panick sell florence.  Do I sound ticked??? I am. nf

You do sound ticked... haven't looked yet but are you saying they sold off 60% interest in flo already, now?? N

My summary is that if you are net yet invested in a copper miner, you should take a closer look at Taseko.

You have totally given yourself away with this post. Florence is coming fishy, whether you like it or not. Gib will be cranking out copper profit / free cash flow for another 18 years minimum at all times when copper is over $2.60 or so. Gib builds Florence, Florence and a J.V. builds Yellowhead, Aley fires up in a few years and the wildcard NP will wait as long as needed. Give it up Fishy, your ...more

Did anyone else hear that "we're not opposed to selling assets if it makes sense" comment. Immediate thought... are the talks with FN's and Gov't regarding NP a discussion on how TKO can sell or partner with the FN's under some Gov't sponsored project ensuring FN's value and historical rights of land use, while still developing a massive boon for both the Province ...more

This comment. 40 million 4 ten percent of all taseko holdings adds up to 400 million dollars total tko value. 350 million dollars of that covers liabilities. That makes our sp worth about 15 cents. Yup, if it makes cents for somebody. The underwriters have 2 b squeeling all the way to the abitoir. nf
Comment by nofluff on Nov 22, 2020 5:17pm
If we do a jv or stream during this pandemic, it will b bad. Currently gib is slambing cash 2 account. We make big on gib. My call is 2 stop giving our assets away!!! We need 2 b a gib mine only until the smoke clears. nf
Comment by nofluff on Nov 22, 2020 5:21pm
We gave 18 months of hi profit. Suspend all pipeline capex. By bond due date, we buy them for cash. Imagine a gib 10.00 copoer sp with no debt. nf

Certainly possible, time always tells. One thing you can be sure of is they ain't giving it away. Time is on company's side as they have plenty on their plate for the next several years. Any positive news is gravy or icing, take your pick.

Cog.. totally feasible to sell np.. first nations will not approve with russ in charge. Too much bad blood... tko could get 20 milliin plus a 5% rotalty
