RE: volume almost 500,000 in 15 min..The takeover offer was a surprise and initially spooked the market which sold us off yesterday. On reflection though it is being realized that this would be a really good deal for TMM and that's today's rebound.
It's worth keeping in mind that even if it doesn't go through it's a win-win for us because you just can't buy this kind of publicity. TMM's profile is now being significantly raised and we are being brought to the attention of a wider audience.
As far as CGC's resistance goes, it's worth remembering that these guys (at the highest level) are all going to lose their jobs. They're duplicates of what TMM already has in place and so it's not surprising they're in a surly mood.
